We are located at 7151 State Route 38, Newark Valley, New York. It is the mission of the Newark Valley Fire Department to provide fire and emergency services to the residents of the Newark Valley Fire District. As volunteers we are committed to maintaining state of the art equipment and providing high quality training for our members, who are on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We respond to approximately 100 emergency calls per year. Our coverage area is approximately 60 square miles and includes the Town of Newark Valley, Village of Newark Valley, and a portion of the Town of Owego. Some of our neighboring departments include: Berkshire Fire Department to the North; Maine Fire Department to the East; Weltonville to the West; and Owego Fire Department and Campville Fire Department to the South.

Training is held the first and third Tuesday of every month starting at 7:00 p.m. and the third Sunday starting at 9:00 a.m.
