The Fire District is responsible for setting the annual fire district budget and controlling the tax payer money collected by the Town.  The Commissioners are elected to a 5 year term, the Treasurer is elected to a 3 year term.  Each year the district board selects one of their Commissioners as the Chairman.  The current chairman is Commissioner Bob Haney.

 

The Fire District Board holds its meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the fire station.  All meetings are open to the public.

 

The annual elections are the 2nd Tuesday in December of each year from 6pm—9pm at the fire district station.
